Prerequisites

1. Access to your domain registrar account: You will need the login credentials for the registrar where you purchased your domain.
2. Our Nameserver details:
   • ns1.velocityhosting.co.uk
   • ns2.velocityhosting.co.uk
   • ns3.velocityhosting.co.uk

Step 1: Login to your domain registrar

1. Visit the website of your domain registrar. 
2. Login with your account credentials.
3. Locate the domain for which you want to edit the nameservers. This is usually found under "My Domains" or a similar section.

Step 2: Access the Nameserver Settings

1. Select the domain you wish to edit
2. Look for an option like DNS Settings, Nameserver Settings, or Manage Nameservers.
3. Click the option to edit or change nameservers.

Step 3: Update the Nameservers

1. Choose the option to use custom nameservers (if applicable).
2. Enter the new nameservers details provided by us which can be found above.
3. Save or confirm the changes.

Step 4: Wait for DNS Propagation

Changes to nameservers may take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet. However, most updates are typically completed within a few hours.

Step 5: Verify the update

1. Use and online DNS checker tool like https://dnschecker.org/ns-lookup.php to confirm that your domain is pointing the correct nameservers
2. Ensure your website is functionally correctly
