How to set up a custom Server IP for your Minecraft Server. 

Setting up a customer server IP for your Minecraft server can enhance your server's professionalism and make it easier for players to connect. Follow this guide to setup a Custom IP.

Prerequisites

1. An image file: Prepare an image that you want to use as your server icon. It must meet the following requirements:
   
   • File format: PNG
   • Size: 64x64 pixels
   • Name: server-icon.png

Step 1: Create or prepare your image

1. Design your icon using an image editing tool such as Photoshop, Canvas, Pixlr.
2. Ensure the image is resized to exactly 64x64 pixels.
3. Save the image in the PNG format and name it server-icon.png

Step 2: Access your server files

1. In the DNS Management area, locate the section to add a new record.
2. Choose A Record as the record type. 
3. Fill in the fields:
   • Host:  Enter the subdomain you want for your Minecraft server. For example:
     • Use Play to create play.yourdomain.com
     • Leave it blank or use @ to apply the record to the root domain.
   • Points: Enter your Minecraft servers IP address.
   • TTL: Set this to the default value (Usually 1 hour or "Automatic").
4. Save the A Record.

Step 3: Upload the server icon 

1. In the root directory, locate or upload the server-icon.png file on your local directory:
   • If using the game panel: Use the file manage to upload the image to the root directory.
   • If using FTP client: Drag and drop the server-icon.png file into the root directory.
2. Confirm that the file is uploaded successfully and is named exactly server-icon.png.

Step 4: Restart your server

1. Go to the control panel of your server.
2. Restart your server using the restart button.
3. Wait for the server to fully reboot.

Step 5: Verify your custom icon

1. Open your Minecraft client.
2. Navigate to the multiplayer server list.
3. Locate your server in this list. The custom icon should now appear next to your sever name.
