How to change your Garry's Mod server name.

Setting your custom server name is important it will distinguish you from other server on the Garry's Mod server list.

Navigate to your server.cfg 

To change the server name you will need to navigate to the server.cfg file for your server which is located in garrysmod/cfg 

Once you have opened the server.cfg you will see the option Hostname "New Garry's Mod Server | Hosted by Velocity Hosting" - This is the default name for all server created with Velocity Hosting.

To set your custom server name you will just need to edit he words within it quotation marks, Example:

hostname "Velocity+ | DarkRP | Free VIP | Custom Jobs"

Once you have set your custom name make sure to press save at the bottom of the file editor.

Now just restart your server and it should become publicly listed on the server list.
